Capability  /ËŒkeɪpəˈbɪlÉ™ti/ -  Incapability  /ËŒinkeɪpəˈbɪlÉ™ti/

capability (to do something/of doing something) the ability or qualities necessary to do something.

incapability (to do something/of doing something) is inability (to do something) the fact of not being able to do something.

A. Expressing capability / incapability

-  Although my father is now 75 years old, he still has the capability of driving car well.
-  He is still capable of driving car well.
-  The situation is capable of improvement
-  They think I have got the qualifications needed for the job
-  Aldy is able to draw anything perfectly
-  I am capable of doing it
-  I'm able to......

Asking for capability / ability

B. Examples & test yourself

1.  Ron:  There's something wrong with my laptop, can you fix it?
     Tom:  Oh, so sorry, I know nothing about it but I can ask my friend Jim to do it.
What will Tom do?
